LO "Enjoy the little things" (tutorial)

junio 26, 2019 18 Comments
Hello everyone!
Today I gonna show you how to take advantage of your stamps.
I used very few materials including some stamps: nauticals from Kora Projects, with title and another from Kaiserkraft and  stencil from Ab studio to make the background; cardstock kraft, white acrylic paint and golden glitter.
So the first thing I'm going to do is create a background with stamps and stencil.
If you keep the pieces of cardboard that are left over of other projects, you can use them to stamp.
I'm going to stamp as many motives as I need and I'm going to cut them leaving a small margin.
I also made some tags with different browns and I've stapled it like this:
I set all the elements so that each one stands out in its place.
And with this small and cute stamp I'm going to give the final touch.
And this would be the result.
I still think that stamps are not my cup of tea but I really liked doing this project.
I used this photo of my little brother during our holidays.
After hours running, playing and swimming in the sea we need to sunbathe and dry off!
Have a good summer!

Hi everyone!
Today I gonna show you this tunnel card.
This is my first tunnel card than I made and I love it!

I used some papers from Mona Design and this chipboard from ScrapBox.
I wrote a piece of psalm 90 with my typewrite and I covered it with acetate.
If you like you can see the tutorial here.
I hope you like it!
Thanks so much for watching.

Shabby Folding Screen

junio 13, 2019 22 Comments
Hello everyone!
Today I'm a Guest Designer for Scrap Relax and I gonna show you this project
than I made for my dear husband.
Curiously, he loves steampunk-industrial style a lot but he always want my style
so that his studio has my touch too. How lovely!
So I did a folding screen with our wedding photos and a verses of the Bible as a memory.
I made each of the panels with cardboard and added a lattice both the top and bottom.
After painting the screen with a soft cream color, I decorated the corners with some paper flowers,
like Freetany Flowers "28 Little boy", fabric flowers and chipboard flowers, like Kora projects "Pansy".
I used some die-cut leaves too, like Fluffy Duffy "клевер" or "черника".

The first time I saw something like that was Ольга Равенская and I thought:
"one day I'll do something like that too".
So the time has passed and it's no longer an original idea and it takes a lot of work:
calculate the measurements, cut the cardboard, make the panels, specially the lattices...
That was a challenge but I do it!
And I think it's a beautiful way to keep a memory indeed.

Hello everyone!
Summer is near!
Some people are already experiencing a lot of heat.
I'm one of those who don't wait for sunny (because I'm cold all year)
but because of the excursions and bike routes with my husband, family inheritance since my parents
took us to somewher every summer weekend.
So this project that I gonna show you is inspired by one of the last excursions
that I made in bike for my own region.
Nop, it wasn't a jaunt to the sea.
Oddly enough, it was in the huge rock where the Rocacorba sanctuary is located.
I put some pictures for you to see and tell me if this rock doesn't look like a ship!
I got a huge desire to make a ship!
And this has been the result!
I'll highlight especially this paper with pallet motifs, "Destination unknown",
one of my favorites from Kora Projects "Sea Time" paper collection.
At first I'd thought about leaving the ship on its support but in the end I decided to make a box with double bottom, like a treasure box since my ship seems to be anchored at the bottom of the sea rather than being on a rock.
I make a video so you can see it better and you can find the templates here.
I hope you liked it!
