JV "Seasons" 4 & 5 stages

febrero 27, 2019 12 Comments
Hello everyone!
And welcome to the fourth and fifth stages of JV "Seasons" from VSK.

Yes, yes yes! I'm late, I know T_T
but I have a good excuse ... or so... Anyway.
So the theme of the fourth stage was "Autumn" and we had to choose 2 of these elements:
leaves (can be print), cutting dies, chipboard, lace or pocket.
I choosed leaves and dies (as you will see below).
And the last stage was the cover.
Well this is my album finished.

This was the hardest part to do. I didn't want to make a "travel" cover or choose a particular season.
So I was search on my fabrics and I found this piece. Very warm and cozy.

My first attempt to make a cover with an interior frame.

Why "Summertime"? Mmm... I was thinking about the idea of vacations, not in the summer.
I loved this idea for the sipe!
And the inside.

Everything was fine until the fourth stage arrived and I only had three pictures!!!!
I found more beach photos so I decided to make three summer pages to finish filling
(now the title of the cover makes sense)
Forth stage "Autumn"
That was it all!
And the video, of course!
I hope you like it!
Thanks for watching ^_^

JV "Seasons" 3 stage: Summer

febrero 06, 2019 8 Comments
Hello everyone!
And welcome to the third stage of JV "Seasons" from BCK.
So the theme of this stage is "Summer" and we have to choose 2 of these elements:
flowers (can be print), cutting dies, paper clip, button or tracing paper.

For this I chose photos of one of our trips to Andalusia, south of Spain.
During the trip we had the car broke down and we had to camp, very exciting!

I made a flip for each page, for this a circle flip frame.
I saw it on an album by Елена Моргун and I loved the idea!

I'm in love with this small hanging books.
And that was it!
I didn't like the result very much but it's what has to experience a little!
I'll continue learning!
Thanks for watching this third stage!

JV "Seasons" 2 stage: Spring

febrero 04, 2019 8 Comments
Hello again!
And welcome to the second stage of JV "Seasons".
So the theme of this stage is "Spring" and we have to choose 2 of these elements:
elements cut by hand /die cut, leaves (can be print), turn mount, stamp or lace.

There have been so many memories about that time!
That year the whole family participated in a "family exchange" with other from Belarus.

She's Ілона.
As she was our guest I wanted to put her picture in this flip frame
It was so hot that it seemed like summer instead of spring...
Where we live now it's like to be winter all year. So cold!
And for this page I made another flip frame a little diferent.
That year we learned a bit of belarusian though we had to speak in English with Ілона
and in french with her mother so they didn't learn much spanish.
Anyway. We've all grown up and I'm married now but I haven't children.
I would like to participate again in these "families exchanges".

Thanks for watching!

JV "Seasons" 1 stage: Winter

enero 25, 2019 8 Comments
Hello, everyone!
This is my first JV of the year.
We see how it all went :)
I've decided to make a travel mini album with the photos than we made during the holidays as a child
We traveled the year around so sure I can make all the seasons!
The theme of the fisrt stage is "Winter" and we have to choose 2 of these elements: something clear
(like drops, tracing paper, acetate...), snowflakes, notes, brooches or lace.
I choosed something clear (crystal drops) and snowflakes.
I also decided to use the Graphic45 "Time to Flourish" paper collection and recycle kraft sheets
from a blank album. I think it's very appropriate with the task.

And that's how the first two pages were!

I made an accordion flip and a circle frame for the first page.

And a simple flip closed by clear turn mount for the second page.
Really simple but I like this so much.
Thanks for reading ^_^
